German-Style Berliner-Weisse Brewed With Kiwi, Pineapple and Mango
We reached batch 50! For this momentous occasion we decided to brew up something funky. We took a traditional German-Style Berliner-Weisse and added a few twists. This was beer was sour-mashed for over 48 hours to achieve a nice tart character. The hop addition of cascade brings a nice floral character to the beer. We then fermented the batch on a blend of Mango, Pineapple and Kiwi purée for a nice tropical character that we feel complements the tartness.

Life in Technicolor: Key Lime - 5.1% ABV
American Pale Ale Brewed with Key Lime Zest and Juice & Milk Sugar
This is round two of our Life in Technicolor series, where we explore the relationship between hop-forward beers and various citrus fruit. This beer was designed to carry the hops and citrus with strong base of barley and oats as well as a large addition of lactose or milk sugar which provides and round, full and smooth mouthfeel. We brewed this beer with a ridiculous amount of Key Lime zest and juice and an array of citrus forward hops. It's light and tropical and a welcome reprieve from this winter that doesn't seem to want to end. It's almost spring right?

Belgian-Style Grisette Brewed with VT Raw Wheat, VT Grown Hops & Hay
Bringing our traditional brewing techniques another step forward we partnered with Rogers Farmstead in Berlin, VT to brew this classic Belgian-Style Grisette. Large portions of raw wheat and an entire bale of hay were added to the mash to give this beer a rustic and farm-like quality. We then open-fermented this beer at 90° with our expressive house saison culture and let it free rise to bring out more of a lemon, pepper and clove flavor and aroma. We think this is a great step towards achieving the rustic yet refined quality we want in our Saisons. Enjoy!

Lots of late hopping and an warm fermentation throw notes of flowers and stone fruit into the mix as well. We love this beer.

Kettle-Soured Farmhouse Ale Brewed With Hibiscus & Wild Maine Beach Roses
This beer was a concept in our mind for quite some time. We brewed this to be very similar to a dry Rosé Wine. Based off of a traditional German Berliner-Weisse, we create a strong body with equal parts wheat and pilsner malt. This beer was then kettle-soured for 48 hours along with whole hibiscus flowers and foraged wild Maine beach rose petals and hips. We fermented this beer with our expressive Saison yeast to dry it out and accentuate the fruitiness of the flowers.

This is our nod to the classic farmhouse ales of the Wallonian region of Belgium. Dry-Hopped American Table Sour
48 hours in the kettle produces a tart and mouth-puckering flavor. The grain bill is reminiscent of a classic German Berliner-Weisse with heavy wheat. We hopped this to a low bitterness with a newer varietal called Caliente. It's then dry-hopped lightly with Citra, Cascade and Lemon Drop hops to bring some tropical flavors into the mix.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER - 6.8% ABV
Our first American IPA! We choose to go a different route with is one. The hopping regiment is unique as we don't add hops until the end of the boil.
